Maritime regulations require a system of blocking chains.

The NORPRO Chainstopper is a completely integrated locking system allowing safe and easy handling during anchor deployment and retrieval.

Designed for mounting directly between the anchor and the anchor winch, suitable for chain diameters from 20 to 132 mm.

A tensioning device incorporated within all our Chainstoppers is used to tighten the anchor against the hull thus preventing damage.

Models NP7 through NP13 require opening assistance using either a hydraulic or counter balance system.

On request, tensioning device can be hydraulic to save time in emergency situations by releasing the anchor from the wheelhouse without manual operation.

Optional extended base: 300 mm maximum .
